A St. Lunatics were the rap crew from St. Louis, Missouri formed by rapper Nelly and his hometown friends Ali, Murphy Lee, Kyjuan, City Spud and Slo'Down. It were formed within 1993 and came out by owning their local hit "Gimmie What U Got" inside 1996. Fallowing a St. Lunatics had gestural to Universal Records Nelly was the number one member to last solo, & when Nelly was working in his solo album Country Grammar, City Spud was arrested and sentenced to Ten years inside prison for robbery. When a break across profits of Nelly around 2000, the St. Lunatics freed their debut album Free City in 2001 with hits such as "Summer In The City" & "Midwest Swing". So Ali released his solo album Heavy Starch in 2002 and Murphy Lee released his solo album ''Murphy's Law'' in 2003.
